Shipping Policy and Carrier Responsibilities

When you place an order with GAK, we will ensure 100% of orders are delivered to customers through our in-house delivery team or third-party logistics partners. The applicable shipping method and conditions depend on the type of order as follows:

1. For Wholesale Orders (50–100 items) within Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC):

Orders will be delivered through GAK’s internal delivery team.

2. For Retail Orders (under 50 items) within HCMC:

Once the order is fully paid (100%), it will be delivered via third-party carriers such as Grab, Viettel Post, VnPost, DHL, etc.
Note: The customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs.

3. For Wholesale or Retail Orders in Other Provinces:

Once fully paid (100%), orders will be shipped via transport companies or carriers designated by the customer.
Note: The customer will bear the shipping costs.

4. Other Locations (Nationwide):

Estimated delivery time: 2–5 business days (usually 2–4 days).
If you do not receive a delivery call from the courier within 3 days of placing your order, please contact GAK for assistance.
Note: Delivery timelines do not include Sundays or public holidays.

5. Unforeseen Delays

In the event of unavoidable delays due to strikes, wars, natural disasters, epidemics, or other force majeure events, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience.

While we do not guarantee 100% support for urgent cases, we are committed to doing everything possible to help resolve your needs.

Responsibilities of the Shipping Carrier

a. General Rights and Obligations

  • The carrier is entitled to receive service fees and reasonable costs as agreed upon with GAK.
  • Must provide complete shipment and delivery documentation to both GAK and the customer.
  • Must deliver goods on time as agreed, except for delays caused by force majeure events as defined in the partnership contract.
  • Goods must be delivered intact and undamaged, with photos and recipient signatures as proof.
  • Carriers must comply with logistics laws and industry practices during shipment.

Retention of Goods (Lien Rights)

When exercising the right to retain goods, the carrier must:

  • Safeguard and protect the retained goods.
  • Not use the goods without GAK’s consent.
  • Compensate GAK for any damage or loss of retained goods.

b. Exemptions from Liability

The carrier is not liable for loss or damage in the following cases:

  • Losses caused by the customer or their authorized representatives.
  • Losses resulting from the carrier following the customer’s instructions.
  • Losses due to defects in the goods themselves.
  • Losses arising under legally recognized exemptions or transportation customs if the carrier is organizing the logistics.

Additional exemptions:

  • No liability if no complaint is received within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • No liability if no legal action is initiated within 9 months of delivery.

The carrier is not responsible for:

  • Any potential profits the customer might have gained.
  • Delays or misdelivery not caused by the carrier’s fault.

Important Note:
In case of shipping or service delays, the carrier must promptly notify GAK, so we can inform the customer and provide alternative solutions.
